The aim of this standard is to provide a set of necessary and sufficient attributes for external and composite doorsets, based on empirical assessment, that enables them to meet their intended purpose.
The specification covers doorsets with leaves, with facing materials of metal, thermoplastic or Fibre Reinforced Thermosets (FRT) materials
The requirements of this standard apply to the doors up to the point of installation subject to being stored in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
