The Building Regulations amendments 2002 introduce significant changes to the existing Building Regulations, especially with regard to the thermal performance of windows and doors, and the inclusion of replacement works.
The proposal to allow industry to self-certify appears to have been accepted by Government, thus reducing the costs and timescales of providing Building Regulation compliance.
This document provides guidance to the new new Building Regulations, covering the more salient points, and includes and explanation of the work of Building Control and FENSA, the Fenestration Self Assessment scheme.
The guidance is split into three separate sections:

Building Control
FENSA
Each section has it's own table of contents to allow the reader to find the appropriate subject.
